Zelina Vega appeared in the Women’s Royal Rumble tonight dressed as Juri from Street Fighter 6. During her entrance, it was revealed that she would be appearing in the game as a guest commentator.
Vega — real name Thea Trinidad — will join the Street Fighter 6 in-game commentator roster for the highly anticipated game. In a press release from developer Capcom, Vega issued a statement professing her longtime love for the game, as well as noting that it was “surreal” to be a part of the iconic fighting game franchise.
“I’ve been an avid gamer since I was a child and a huge fan of Street Fighter,” said Vega. “I can still remember epic matches with my brother, and I would always beat him with my favorite character Vega. It’s surreal to now be a part of this amazing franchise and I am honored and thankful for this once in a lifetime opportunity.”
