The lineup is set for the final episode of WWE NXT before NXT Stand and Deliver.
Eddy Thorpe, the former Karl Fredericks, is set to make his NXT in-ring debut on the March 28 episode. Thorpe signed with WWE January and has competed in a few NXT Level Up matches since. The 32-year-old came through the New Japan Dojo and frequently competed on NJPW STRONG over the last few years.
Following the news that Wes Lee will defend his NXT North American Championship in a five-way at NXT Stand and Deliver, the champion officially selected Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, and Ilja Dragunov as three of the challengers. To determine the fifth and final spot in that bout, a 20-man battle royal will take place next week with Axiom, Dijak, Dabba-Kato, Apollo Crews, Jinder Mahal, and more confirmed to take part.
Another qualifying match will see Ivy Nile, Indi Hartwell, and Sol Ruca take part in a “last chance” triple threat match where the winner will join the NXT Women’s Championship Ladder match at NXT Stand and Deliver.
Plus, Grayson Waller is confirmed to appear as he will officially respond to Johnny Gargano’s challenge for an Unsanctioned match at NXT Stand and Deliver in Los Angeles.
Below is the updated lineup for next week:
- 20-man NXT North American Championship qualifying battle royal
- Last Chance qualifier for NXT Stand & Deliver: Ivy Nile vs. Indi Hartwell vs. Sol Ruca
