Jade Cargill Signs Multi-Year Deal With WWE

Jade Cargill is no longer All Elite.

As first reported by Marc Raimondi of ESPN, former AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill has signed a multi-year deal with WWE and will begin training at the WWE Performance Center later today.

The news of Cargill’s AEW contract expiring was broken by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select) on September 14.

The following day, Cargill lost her second straight match in All Elite Wrestling. This took place on a taped episode of AEW Rampage, where she failed to recapture the TBS Championship against Kris Statlander.

ESPN was unable to confirm if Cargill will go straight to the WWE main roster or begin her tenure with the company in the NXT developmental brand.

WWE has confirmed ESPN’s report by putting out the following post on social media:

WWE NXT will host a premium live event this weekend in Bakersfield titled NXT No Mercy. If Cargill is making her start in NXT, this could be where she potentially debuts.
