Road Dogg just said what you want him to say.
This week’s episode of the Oh…You Didn’t Know podcast featured Road Dogg and Casio Kid bringing back the “Top Dogg” segment to rank sports entertainers. This week featured MJF as the subject and Casio put Road Dogg on the spot — is he a better sports entertainer than MJF?
“So the fact that I’ve taken this long should make everybody mad. Are they pissed, do you think, by now? Umm… I don’t know dude, he’s great,” Road Dogg said. “I — he’s a really great promo. He’s not a great wrestler, in my mind, but I wasn’t even a good one, so I don’t compare that two.”
Casio said Road Dogg has an out in saying that MJF’s career is still in progress, so MJF has time to pass him on that list.
“You want me to say I’m better, don’t you? Just for the views,” Road Dogg joked. “OK so let me just give this to you plain and simple; the Road Dogg is a better sports entertainer than MJF. And that is no disrespect to MJF. I’ve met the individual, very respectful, very smart young man. Very smart in the way he eats, the way he trains, surpasses me in everything, but I wanted to make the one line that everybody will read very clear. I’m a better sports entertainer than MJF. Having said that — yeah and I’ll trend, and thank you guys for that — but if they listen to the whole thing, as a human being, I think that dude is a good dude.
There’s even an edit point
Road Dogg said he spent time with MJF at a convention and had an enjoyable time.
“Great guy, great at what we do. He would be tremendous in WWE. Never say never, I hope I get the opportunity to work with him. But again, let me make it very simple for you guys — I’m a better sports entertainer than MJF. There’s even a cut, an edit point at the end,” he quipped.
