Becky Lynch Vows to Beat Rhea Ripley At WrestleMania And Make Her Daughter Proud

Ever since Rhea Ripley became the WWE Women’s World Heavyweight Champion fans have been wanting to see her wrestle Becky Lynch. The two have teased a one-on-one match against each other on multiple occasions. The two had several star-downs. They even cut a highly passionate promo a couple of weeks ago before the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. Now, The Man is one stop away from finally being able to get the opportunity to wrestle Mami.

Last night on Raw there was a qualifying match to earn an opportunity to become the number one contender for the WWE Women’s World Heavyweight Title. The number one contender’s match will take place inside the devious steel structure at the upcoming Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.

The first qualifying match was between two former NXT Women’s Champions. Shayna Baszler wrestled Becky Lynch. The Man managed to pick up the victory and qualified for the Elimination Chamber match.

Following the match, she was interviewed by Cathy Kelly. During the interview, Lynch mentioned that she is in a lot of pain but feels everything has come full circle.

“[I am] In a lot of pain. Shayna [Baszler] beat the holy hell out of me. But the last time I beat her, I think I was four weeks pregnant or three weeks pregnant. And I had my little baby training me for this match today. So everything felt like it came full circle. And it’s keeping me on the right path. And my dreams feel pretty big right now. Maybe at times unattainable. But with the support system that I have and everything that I’m putting into right now, I feel like I can’t fail. And I don’t want to let her down.”

Lynch also mentioned that she has never been in an Elimination Chamber match but that will not stop her from winning the Chamber and walking out of WrestleMania as the new WWE Women’s World Heavyweight Champion.

“I’ve never been in an Elimination Chamber before. So I don’t really know what to expect. But one thing that I do know is that I have been in every other brutal type of match that this company has. And I’ve either succeeded or I’ve gotten damn close to winning. But ‘nearly’ ain’t gonna win the race this time. This time I have to win the race and so I don’t think it matters who they put in front of me. I don’t think it matters what structure is containing me, this time, I’m gonna break free and I’m gonna break through. And I’m going to go to WrestleMania. I’m gonna take that championship and gonna hold it high above my head and make my daughter proud,” Lynch said.
