Randy Orton Admits He Ripped A Urinal Off Of The Wall During WWE Tour

Randy Orton comes clean.

During a WrestleMania 38 press conference, Cody Rhodes shared a story about how Randy Orton once ripped a urinal off of the wall during a WWE tour of Cape Town, South Africa.

Randy Orton recently did an interview with Jazzy from Jazzy’s World. Her brother, David, stepped in for a few questions and asked Orton if the urinal story was true, and if he got in trouble for it.

“Uhh, I think we were long gone before anyone knew who did it. The story is true — but, Cody Rhodes has been known to exaggerate his stories in the past,” Orton noted. “So I don’t remember everything about the situation, but there was a bit of flooding, and I did rip a urinal off of the wall, yes. I didn’t get in trouble though, so that’s all that matters.

David said it takes a tremendous amount of strength to do that. However, Orton admitted he might have had some help.

“Yeah. Yeah. I’ll be honest,” Orton added. “It was kinda half hanging off of the wall anyway, so it didn’t take much strength.” [laughs]

The Urinal Incident (Cody’s Version)

Cody Rhodes shared the urinal story during his press conference the morning after his return at WrestleMania 38. According to Cody, here’s how it all went down:

“I was told that Randy Orton is like a family man now, and doesn’t get in trouble. I won’t have it. Because the very first time I met Randy, very first time I saw Randy, we were in Cape Town, South Africa, at the TV hotel, or [hotel] for that tour. Really nice hotel. And I walk by the men’s bathroom, and he had his hands around the urinal and he goes, ‘Hey, Code! Look at this!’ And he yanked the entire urinal out of the wall,” Rhodes explained.

“Like superhuman strength, plaster ripping off of the thing, a flood just sweeping out into the lobby, and he giggled. And I thought, ‘I don’t know if I got what it takes to be a wrestler.’ I don’t know,” Rhodes continued. “We had this big talent meeting the next day. There was security cameras, ‘Hey guys, we want to know who did it.’ He walked up in front of everybody and said, ‘Hey! I want to know who did it!’ [And I was taken back by his response] Like, what do you mean [you want to know who did it?]”
