Triple H has commented on Bret Hart‘s appearance on Raw this week.
The WWE Hall of Famer made his first appearance in Raw in nearly a decade, as Raw was broadcast from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It was the first time The Hitman appeared on Raw since introducing Sami Zayn for his match against John Cena in the summer of 2015.
The Canadian legend appeared on Raw alongside Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore. However, he was quickly interrupted by World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. The Austrian mocked Bret Hart, claiming that Bill Goldberg was his favorite wrestler.
Sami Zayn then made an appearance, challenging Gunther to a match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Bret Hart performed well in the segment, and received a hero’s welcome in his hometown of Calgary.
Triple H was certainly impressed by the reaction. He posted a clip on Twitter, showing him meeting Bret Hart backstage.
The pair hugged and talked about the segment. Triple H told The Hitman that he looked “Fucking great”, before thanking him for coming to Raw.
He added to the video with the caption on Twitter, saying that Calgary is “Hart Country”, and once again thanked Bret for making the appearance.
