This was a quality opening match. Saints have been in the lab since leaving the other place because he has been phenomenal since joining NXT. Page is the perfect foil for Saints, as they are the opposite sides of the arrogance spectrum. Saints should be in for a long run with the North American championship. Page should be headed to the main roster after WrestleMania.

Fun match. Hank and Tank still do nothing for this writer, but the NXT Universe loves them. There were a ton of near falls in this match that were so close it got this writer out of his chair. It was more than time for Frazer and Axiom to lose the tag titles, and at this point, Hank and Tank were the right team. Enjoy it while you can, Hank and Tank… you are losing those titles to DarkState, most likely at the next PLE.

Each member of DarkState was impressive in their first PLE match. The match, save for the turn at the end, didn’t feel like much more than an NXT TV match. The D’Angelo Family may have run its course at this point, and who knows if a gimmick like this could work on the main roster. Mixing it up now makes sense, as, at some point, D’Angelo and his crew have to make a move to the main roster.

Grade: A

This match was insane. Vaquer stood tall and beat back the challenges of these three women, who will all eventually lead this division. Now just isn’t their time. Parker shined here in a field of women with decades of experience over her. The doomsday blockbuster and triple stack teardrop were the moves of the match. Though Parker ate the pin, she may have been the real winner here. Miss Parker has arrived.

What a match. Oba Femi may be the king of the triple threat match. That man hasn’t lost one and finds new ways to assault two men at once. Evans was the wild card here, and he didn’t disappoint, landing high-flying offense that few could duplicate without killing themselves or their opponet. Williams’ performance here will go a long way to quieting the haters in the IWC who have questioned his in-ring skills. Williams plays up to his competition for better or worse. Against competitors like Femi and Evans, Trick Willy shined.

WWE NXT Stand and Deliver Review:

Hell of a PLE by NXT today. There were no weak efforts tonight, with the women’s championship match and the main event managing to eclipse the rest of the contest, but not by much. The ones to watch coming out of the event are Je’Von Evans and Jaida Parker. After their performances at Stand and Deliver, they are both poised for big things in the coming year. The stage is set for NXT’s “new season” as WrestleMania season inches towards a close. What did you all think of the event? Let us know in the comments below!
