Donald Trump issued a touching statement after the death of Hulk Hogan.
News of Hulk Hogan’s death shocked everyone on Thursday. The WWE legend passed away after a medical incident at his Clearwater, Florida, home this morning. News of Hogan’s death resulted in countless tributes from around the wrestling world, including statements from names like Vince McMahon and Ric Flair. Current United States President Donald Trump also issued a statement, lamenting the death of the iconic figure.
Trump has always been a proponent of pro wrestling, and welcomed Hogan during the Republican National Convention on the way to his 2024 election win. Hogan endorsed Trump in the 2024 election, and stated that he, too, wanted to get back to the America they loved.
“Brother, I’ve still got that Trump Pump on, dude,” Hogan said. “But the weird thing is, I’ve been going all over the country with Real American Beer, my brand-new beer, and I wrote down a bunch of states I was at, Wisconsin, Ohio, Arkansas, Minnesota, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Illinois, Idaho, Nebraska, Michigan, and everywhere I’ve gone, thousands of people get in line to meet and greet me. Everybody’s for Trump. So I hear what you’re saying about the polls, and it’s even Steven and it might be a close call, but let me tell you something, I don’t believe the polls, it’s gonna be a landslide. At the end of the day, all of America wants to get back to America, not the way it used to be, but the way it should be brother. Trump is on fire.”
Donald Trump mourns the loss of Hulk Hogan
In his post, Trump called Hogan a great friend. He said Hogan’s appearance at the RNC was a personal highlight, and he will be missed.
“We lost a great friend today, the “Hulkster.” Hulk Hogan was MAGA all the way — Strong, tough, smart, but with the biggest heart,” Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social. “He gave an absolutely electric speech at the Republican National Convention, that was one of the highlights of the entire week. He entertained fans from all over the World, and the cultural impact he had was massive. To his wife, Sky, and family, we give our warmest best wishes and love. Hulk Hogan will be greatly missed!
