Invasion is officially back.
During Saturday’s NXT No Mercy show, NXT General Manager Ava made a special announcement. Seated at her desk, she said that the relationship between NXT and TNA has become fractured, and that something had to be done.
With that in mind, Ava and Santino got together to come up with a plan. That resulted in Invasion, a special show taking place on October 7, 2025, and that will feature several big matches.
Most notably, Invasion will feature two “Survivor Series style matches,” one for the men and one for the women. These matches will feature carefully picked NXT and TNA stars. Ava said the teams will be announced on Tuesday’s episode of NXT. The show will also feature a Title vs. Title match for NXT and TNA’s World Tag Team Championships, with DarkState taking on The Hardy Boys.
