It looks like Laredo Kid is no longer with TNA Wrestling.
Laredo, a former TNA Digital Media Champion, wrote the following on Twitter/X, implying his tenure with the company has ended. Despite leaving the company, the Luchador expressed his hope to return to work for TNA again in the future.
“Thank you for everything to this great company and family @ThisIsTNA. I appreciate your tremendous support. I hope to return to work in the future. We’re on a new path.”
Laredo held the Digital Media Championship for 29 days; the title has since been reactivated as the International Championship. Laredo last competed for TNA in May. He was introduced on TNA television as Laredo Kid, but TNA still has him on the roster page as the mononym “Laredo.”
The Luchador has continued to compete in Mexico for AAA and other promotions. This includes an appearance in an eight-man tag team match at AAA x WWE Worlds Collide in Las Vegas last month. His appearance on that event was a late change, as he was a replacement for Niño Hamburguesa in the match.
