Seth Rollins has reached a point in his career where his legacy has become a hot topic for the WWE Universe.
The Visionary is currently sidelined with a shoulder injury he suffered at Crown Jewel: Perth. During the match, Rollins performed a coast-to-coast headbutt on Cody Rhodes, injuring his shoulder in the process.
He was written off television following an attack angle involving The Vision. For those who missed last week’s WWE RAW, Rollins took a spear from Bron Breakker before Bronson Reed ended the assault with a thunderous Tsunami.
This past Monday on RAW saw General Manager Adam Pearce stripped Rollins of the World Heavyweight Championship. Jey Uso went on to win an over-the-top-rope battle royal to become a number-one contender for the title. Uso is now set to face CM Punk for the vacant title at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in November.
Nathan Frazer talks about Seth Rollins’ legacy
WWE SmackDown’s Nathan Frazer was a recent guest on No Contest Wrestling. During the interview, Frazer praised Seth Rollins for teaching him the ropes. The former NXT Tag Team Champion also revealed that he regularly receives feedback from Rollins on his matches.
“Just to say that Seth Rollins trained me is very cool in and of itself,” Nathan Frazer began. “But to have an active rapport with him. I can send him any match that I have. And he’ll always get back to me with some really awesome, detailed critique.”
When asked how he would define Rollins’ legacy, Frazer noted that Seth is focused on leaving his mark on the business. Not just as a performer, but also as a mentor to up-and-coming professional wrestlers.
“He really cares about the next generation of wrestlers and leaving his stamp on the industry. His legacy isn’t necessarily only going to be what he does, it’s going to be kinda the knowledge that he passes down on future generations and what that generation does with that information.” [H/T: WrestleTalk]
