AEW Dynamite saw an increase in viewership on November 5.
According to Wrestlenomics, 497,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.09 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode, when 459,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also slightly rose last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.08 rating in the same demographic.
Viewership for Wednesday’s show on MAX is unknown at this time.
What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?
This week’s show kicked off with The Opps confronting Tony Schiavone about his involvement in the closing angle of last week’s show. Hangman Page, Eddie Kingston, and HOOK hit the ring to even the odds, and the main event of the show is changed to a title match.
Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron defeated Mercedes Moné and Athena to advance to the semi-finals of the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title Tournament.
AEW announces a National Championship that will be decided in a Casino Gauntlet Match at Full Gear. Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and Ricochet are all confirmed for the match.
In the main event of the evening, The Opps defeated Hangman Page, HOOK, and Eddie Kingston to retain the AEW World Trios Titles.

AEW Dynamite Review:
To say tonight’s show was newsworthy would be an understatement. I certainly didn’t expect AEW to announce another men’s championship tonight. To be perfectly honest, I don’t think they need it. But what do I know? I’m sure the Casino Gauntlet match will be entertaining, as they usually are.
I felt this evening’s show had a beautiful balance of not only hyping up next week’s Blood and Guts special and Full Gear. That’s typically something AEW struggles to do when they need to promote two shows at once, but I feel like they pulled it off tonight rather well.
Next week’s Blood and Guts special should be a pretty crazy show, and I’m not sure how much build for Full Gear we’ll get next week, but I’d love to see them have a great special event while also making sure the pay-per-view gets properly hyped. We’ll see how that goes.
I think there’s something to HOOK tapping out quickly to The Opps two weeks in a row. It’s starting to make me question if he’s a double agent for the faction. I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough.
