WWE continues to be impressed with one of TNA‘s top stars. So much so, there is seemingly interest in using him on the current European tour.
TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater appeared on NXT programming multiple times in 2025. He even worked Saturday Night’s Main Event last month on the same card that featured John Cena’s last match. It’s clear WWE is impressed with the young talent and is hopeful to use him more sooner rather than later in 2026.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE has interest in using Leon Slater during the UK stretch of the current European tour.
While it’s not currently confirmed that it will happen, the pitch would have him appearing alongside Je’Von Evans. This would make sense, seeing how he was a victim of the numbers game tonight on WWE RAW.
With AJ Styles announced to appear on iMPACT later this week, it’s possible this was done as an exchange between the two companies in order to use Slater later this month. We’ll find out if that’s the case soon enough.
