Logan Paul continues to be reminded about his controversial trip to Japan.
In 2017, Paul shared a video of himself visiting Aokigahara, a forest at the base of Mount Fuji in Japan. Aokigahara has taken on the unfortunate nickname of the “suicide forest” due to the large number of people who end their lives there. Paul was met with a huge amount of criticism after recording himself standing near the body of a man who appeared to have killed himself.
The YouTube star apologized and said he intended to raise awareness for suicide prevention, and it wasn’t an attempt to gain views. In response, many advertisers cut ties with him, and he was rumored to have been banned from the country.
Monday’s episode of WWE RAW on Netflix saw the Belfast, Ireland crowd meet Paul with a chant that targeted his rumored ban. “He’s banned from Japan, he’s banned from Japan, Logan Paul, he’s banned from Japan,” WWE fans sang at Paul.

Logan Paul isn’t actually banned from Japan, though.
During a new episode of his vlog, Logan Paul reacted to the chant heard on WWE RAW on Netflix, stating that he’s not actually banned from the country.
“Bro, I’m not even banned from Japan, officially, like in an official way,” Paul said. “How did a room full of absolute morons concoct such a ‘brilliant’ chant? I’m not banned from Japan, bro. What the f*ck? I’m not. I’m actually not. ”
Paul has commented on his history (and future) in Japan in the past. During a recent interview with Adin Ross on his IMPAULSIVE podcast, Paul said he would love to go back, but it has to be done the right way.
“Would you ever go back to Japan? It would go crazy,” Adin Ross asked Paul.
“Adin, I love Japan. Do you want to hear something? [It’s] my favorite country on Earth,” Logan Paul said. “I just don’t want to — I have to do it the right way. I’d like to be invited, like maybe if WWE does an event there.”
During a separate interview with Dominik Mysterio, Paul said he wants to be invited back to Japan, a sign that he would be welcome in the country.
