A pro wrestler got brutally knocked out at a recent Power Slap fight.
Professional wrestler Hollyhood Haley J, the reigning Juggalo Championship Wrestling Women’s Champion, recently competed at Power Slap 15 against Ellie Dempster. The clip has resurfaced on social media and has gone viral, clocking more than 14 million views in a day.
Both performers were undefeated at the time (a 1-0 record each), but Haley J didn’t walk out with her streak intact.
Hollyhood Haley J walked into the match all confident and made some non-PG gestures in front of the camera, including giving the double bird. However, the match lasted only one round. Haley J won the coin toss and went first, but Ellie Dempster took the wrestler’s slap like a boss.
When it was her turn, Ellie Dempster rocked Hollyhood Haley J with a powerful slap that sent her headfirst onto the table. The wrestler got knocked down, and the referee stopped the match via TKO, declaring Dempster the winner.
Apart from JCW, Hollyhood Haley J competes across the independent circuit, including WWE Hall of Famer Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion. She has also appeared in NWA and was in Netflix’s “Wrestlers” documentary filmed at OVW.
Becoming a WWE wrestler is Hollyhood Haley J’s ultimate goal
Speaking on The Two Man Power Trip Podcast last year, Hollyhood Haley J opened up about her aspirations to become a WWE wrestler, describing it as her ultimate goal.
“I always say I’m bred to be a TV star, so I’m not really looking to put in all my time on the indies. I want to go to major TV companies and work TV-style wrestling.” Haley J said.
“The ultimate goal is to go to WWE. It always has been since day one—that’s where I’m going to make the most money and where I’ll be able to support my family. That’s where I want to go,” the wrestler said.
