WATCH: Danhausen Curses ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith

Even Stephen A. Smith couldn’t escape Danhausen’s curse.

The WWE Superstar made a surprise appearance on First Take ahead of WrestleMania 42. After introducing himself to the panel, Danhausen jokingly claimed he was there to take over ESPN.

“What am I doing here? Well, I’m saying hello. It’s polite to say hi and shake hands on TV. I am here to take over ESPN. It is now ESPNHausen, hosted by Danhausen. We’re on First Take. Hello, Stephen A. Smith, how are you?”

Stephen A. Smith noted that he had heard about him. Danhausen quickly responded that it was because he is famous. However, Smith fired back by calling him a bad luck charm.

Danhausen disagreed, insisting he is actually a good luck charm. When asked why he was there, he pointed out that Smith is a big New York Knicks fan. He then playfully “cursed” Smith before disappearing from the frame.

“Why am I up here? Well, I heard that you’re a big New York Knicks fan.

“You know, I could curse their enemies. However, you’ve been very, very, very rude to Danhausen. So, unfortunately, you are cursed! Stephen A. Smith!”

WWE is reportedly planning to feature Danhausen in an in-stadium segment at WrestleMania 42.

Details about the segment remain unclear at this time. However, there has reportedly been internal discussion about a possible idea involving John Cena.
