Here’s your chance to meet Brock Lesnar if you’re in Canada this week.
Emerald Park Home Hardware is advertising a rare public appearance for WWE star Brock Lesnar. According to the listing, Lesnar will be on hand on Thursday, May 28 from 4 – 6 pm for a photo and autograph session as part of its 10th anniversary celebration.
“We are thrilled to be hosting the internationally recognized sports icon, Brock Lesnar, this Thursday, May 28th from 4pm – 6pm! Stop by for a pic and autograph,” Emerald Park Home Hardware wrote on Instagram.
In addition, fans can get a complimentary pulled pork on a bun and enter to win a Pit Boss smoker.
Brock Lesnar lives nearby on a large farm near Maryfield in Saskatchewan, Canada. He relocated there with his family to escape the spotlight. The appearance takes place three days before he is scheduled to face Oba Femi at WWE Clash in Italy in Turin. The contest is a rematch from WrestleMania 42, where The Ruler beat Lesnar and seemingly sent him into retirement.
Brock Lesnar explains why he (almost) retired
Lesnar appeared on WWE RAW this week in the form of a pre-taped interview. Lesnar explained how much the loss to Femi affected him, sharing that the loss hit him harder than any other one in his career.
“I didn’t quite get the chance to congratulate you last week on your big victory over me at WrestleMania. Congratulations, Oba. Well done. But that victory is going to cost you more than you could ever imagine. Oh, I’ve had my share of a** whoopings over the years, but none quite like that,” Lesnar said.
Lesnar also explained why he thought he was retiring, and revealed what made him come back for the match in Italy.
