Darby Allin has never been known for playing it safe, and he has just proved that once again by breaking his own cliff-jumping record.
What makes Allin unique is that his love for risk isn’t limited to wrestling. He has built a reputation as one of the most fearless performers in the business, and his real life often looks just as wild as his in-ring persona.
One of his biggest achievements came in 2025 when he successfully climbed Mount Everest. After reaching the summit, Allin proposed to his fiancée and later sent a celebratory video to his longtime mentor, Sting. It was even more impressive because he reportedly made the climb despite suffering a broken foot just weeks earlier.
And Everest is just one item on a very long list.
Darby Allin breaks his previous cliff-jumping record
The former AEW World Champion recently shared an Instagram story showing himself jumping off a massive cliff in Moab, Utah. During the stunt, Allin managed to complete seven flips before the rope caught him, beating his previous personal best.
Sharing the clip, he wrote, “Had to come back to beat the old record,” while tagging Moab Swingers, which operates what’s advertised as the largest rope swing in the United States.
This latest stunt is also a follow-up to another one from earlier this year. Back in March, Allin posted footage of himself bungee jumping off a cliff while performing multiple front flips during the fall. That feat was already stunning. Now, somehow, he has managed to top it.
Over the years, Allin has pulled off several outrageous stunts, including jumping a Jeep over his own house. In early 2024, his original Everest plans were delayed after he was hit by a bus while crossing a street in New York City. Even that wasn’t enough to slow him down for long.
Perhaps even more surprising is how he handles the punishment his body takes. Despite suffering many injuries throughout his career, Allin follows a straight-edge lifestyle.
