The Rock has shared a heartwarming interaction with a young fan who recently completed her cancer treatment journey.
While promoting the upcoming live-action Moana film in Hawaii, Dwayne Johnson met a young girl named Micki, who proudly told him that she had “rang the bell” two months ago after completing a major phase of her cancer treatment.
For cancer patients, ringing the bell is a symbolic tradition that marks the end of treatment or a significant milestone in their medical journey. The ceremony is often celebrated by patients, families, and healthcare workers as a moment of triumph after months or years of difficult treatment.
After hearing the news, The Rock congratulated Micki and her family before posing for a photo with her. He also signed a miniature wooden surfboard.

The former WWE Champion later shared footage of the encounter on X and reflected on what the moment meant to him.

“Maui is one lucky demigod to meet these little ones like Micki.
“These kids have no idea how strong they actually are ~ but their mom and dads do, and I see it on their faces – the proud love they have for their kids and their exhaling gratitude they have because their little ones can finally go back to being a kid again.

Earlier this week, Johnson also unveiled the first original song from the live-action Moana soundtrack. The track, titled “Along The Way,” has now been released on streaming platforms and features Johnson alongside both the original and new cast members of the Moana franchise.
The live-action Moana is scheduled for a theatrical release across the United States on July 10.
