TNA Discussing New Women’s Championship — REPORT

TNA Wrestling could be preparing to expand its Knockouts division in a significant way.

According to a new report, discussions have taken place regarding the introduction of another women’s championship. This would potentially allow more competitors to climb the ladder and chase championship gold.

While nothing has been officially announced, the reported proposal has already sparked interest, given the long-standing reputation of TNA’s women’s division.

For a company whose Knockouts have often stolen the show, another title could add a fresh chapter to an already competitive landscape.

TNA reportedly exploring Women’s Midcard Championship

Fightful Select reports that a new women’s championship has been pitched internally within TNA Wrestling. Although details remain limited, sources indicated the concept being discussed is a women’s midcard title.

At this stage, there is no confirmed name for the championship. Additional details such as regarding the design of the belt have not yet come to light.

The report noted that an official announcement could come in the near future if plans become finalized, though nothing has been locked in.

As with many creative discussions in professional wrestling, plans remain subject to change. Recent shifts behind the scenes could still impact the proposal before it reaches television.

Currently, TNA features the Knockouts World Championship and the Knockouts World Tag Team Championships.

Another interesting piece of the puzzle involves a women’s tournament reportedly planned for July. While no connection has been officially established, the timing naturally raises questions about whether the tournament could eventually play a role in crowning an inaugural champion if the title moves forward.

For now, fans may have to wait for further clarification. However, the possibility of a new championship suggests TNA is continuing to look for ways to strengthen one of its most consistently praised divisions.

Whether this reported title makes it from the drawing board to television remains to be seen. Nevertheless, the Knockouts division may soon have another piece of gold worth fighting for.
