Jey Uso claims Oba Femi tapped out during their match at WWE Night of Champions.
Jey Uso and Oba Femi competed in the finals of the 2026 WWE King of the Ring Tournament at Night of Champions. While people expected Brock Lesnar to show up and cost Femi the crown, The Ruler picked up a clean win over the former World Heavyweight Champion. With the victory, he has earned a world title shot at SummerSlam.
After breaking his silence with a hilarious message on social media after the loss, Jey Uso took to his Instagram Stories to claim that Oba Femi tapped out when he had him locked in the sleeper hold. However, he was referring to when Femi banged his arm on the mat while attempting to power out of the submission hold, which was clearly not a tap-out.
Roman Reigns had tasked Jey Uso with winning the King of the Ring Tournament and bringing the Undisputed WWE Championship back to The Bloodline. Now that he has failed to follow the OTC’s orders, it will be interesting to see how the World Heavyweight Champion reacts.
Oba Femi is also yet to announce which champion he’ll face at SummerSlam. He could face Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship or book a showdown with the new Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn.
