Ultimate X (TNA Tag Team Championship)

Bro Mans (w/ Angelina Love) vs The Revolution vs The Wolves (c)

The Wolves start with some kneedrops, then they go for some suicide dives but Angelina jumps on the apron. The Wolves start short and hiptoss Zema over her onto the other opponents, then Jessie comes back with a dropkick. Jessie misses Manik scaling across the X cables after working together, but he dropkicks him down to the mat before Zema assists with a backbreaker. Both of them try to leapfrog each other to get the titles and come up short, then Manik and Sanada try to play chicken with the bro Mans to beat them to the top.

The Wolves jump back in and dropkick all four of them, then Davey starts climbing but Manik climbs over him. Eddie grabs him and helps powerbomb him, with Davey transitioning into a backstabber combo, then Jessie connects with a double clothesline to take The Wolves out. Jessie assesses the situation and starts climbing, but Sanada catches up with him and sprays him with the green mist as Eddie kicks Sanada in the head. Eddie climbs over the ropes and hurricanranas Sanada off of them, then Davey double stomps Sanada and they both climb up and take the titles down.

Winners – The Wolves

BP: The Wolves are exciting as always, and this was a fun opener. I don’t know why this match happened storyline-wise (with Ultimate X) but it was fun to watch. Jessie was the weakest link as far as the structure goes, but they made him look strong with a power game and he planned things out. No dumb gimmicks where he was scared of heights or too big; he was just as much a threat as everyone else. Good job.
