Backstage, King tells LAX that he got them a tag title shot next week. King offers Diamante a drink that she eventually accepts. King, Santana, and Ortiz all cringe after taking their shots. Diamante calls them all light weights and downs hers with no problem. Santana, Ortiz, and Diamante leave. King sits in the chair and says “the world is mine”.
Number One Contenders Match: Moose vs Eli Drake
Drake and Moose trade strikes. Moose tosses Drake to the outside. Moose sends Drake into the barricade. Moose swings Drake by his feet into the barricade over and over again. Moose charges at Drake. Drake picks up Moose and DVDs him on the apron. Drake brings Moose back into the ring. Moose fires back and hits the lighting chops in the corner. Moose hit the ropes. Drake catches Moose with a popup power slam for a near fall. Drake lays in a few punches. Drake misses blunt force trauma. Moose hits the Go To Hell. Drake somehow manages to kick out. Moose misses the Game Changer. Drake counters and tries to land the Gravy Train. Moose avoids it.
Moose tries a running boot. Drake catches Moose’s leg and hits a powerbomb for a near fall. Drake and Moose trade strikes in the middle of the ring. Drake manages to hit blunt force trauma. Drake bounces off the ropes and runs right into the game changer. Drake kicks out. Drake tries a springboard moonsault. Moose avoids it. Drake puts Moose on the top rope. Drake hits a superplex. Moose kicks out. Drake tries to set up the Gravy Train but Moose turns it into a pin. Drake kicks out. Moose hits a Spear out of nowhere for the win!
