Trick Williams has won the gold.
At WWE NXT No Mercy, Trick Williams challenged “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Championship. Dragon Lee served as the special guest referee, but other officials also played a part in the match.
A superkick took Lee out of the picture, so another referee came down, but he got knocked out too. Mysterio tried to take advantage of the situation grabbing the title and aiming to use it as a weapon. But Williams countered and kneed the championship into Mysterio’s face. Lee then counted the pinfall for Williams.
With the victory, Trick Williams won his first title in WWE.
