Moose Defeats Alex Shelley, Retains TNA World Title At TNA No Surrender

Moose is still the TNA World Champion.

At TNA No Surrender on February 23, Moose defended his TNA World Championship against Alex Shelley. Their rematch was contested under No Surrender Rules, meaning that the match was no disqualification and either of their cornermen could throw in the towel to forfeit the bout at any point.

Moose and Shelley took full advantage of the rules and used a number of weapons including chairs, kendo sticks, a trash can, a table, brass knuckles, and a steel chain. Brian Myers, Eddie and Alisha Edwards, KUSHIDA, and Kevin Knight all played their roles at ringside until KUSHIDA ultimately threw in the towel in the midst of Moose hitting numerous Spears on Shelley.

Moose defeated Shelley to begin his second TNA World title reign on January 13 at Hard to Kill in Las Vegas. He will now defend the gold against Eric Young at TNA Sacrifice on March 8.
