Ric Flair Thanks Roman Reigns For ‘Biggest Compliment I’ve Received In Years’

Ric Flair thanks Roman Reigns for giving him the biggest compliment he received in years.

Former Undisputed WWE Champion Roman Reigns recently acknowledged Ric Flair as the one wrestler who’s better than him. After Reigns’ compliment, Flair took to X/Twitter to thank the OTC.

“Thank You For The Respect @WWERomanReigns! This Has To Be The Biggest Compliment I’ve Received In Years!”

Ric Flair is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling but has made only a few appearances for the company. Flair was supposed to appear at the recent AEW Blood and Guts special, but he had to leave early due to the pain he was in from a rotator cuff injury.

Ric Flair Recently Claimed ‘Street Drugs’ Are To Blame For Hulk Hogan’s Death

During a recent interview on the Doubl3 Coverage podcast, Ric Flair talked about the death of his close friend and fellow WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan.

Ric Flair said that he talked to Hulk Hogan the day before his passing and claimed that Hogan turned to street drugs after the doctors stopped prescribing him pain medication.

“I talked to him the day before he died,” he said. “… I shouldn’t say this, but what killed him was street drugs. When the doctor wouldn’t prescribe anymore. He was in so much pain, then he had that neck surgery, and it got infected, so back in the hospital, mentioned 10 back surgeries, two knees, two hips, all this.

“When the doctor would not prescribe any more pain medicine. They just couldn’t do it all due conscious, right? Yeah, so they went and got their drugs off the street, his body just said, ‘You know what? Bingo, I can’t do it anymore,” Ric Flair said. [H/T: WrestlingNews.Co]

Ric Flair then clarified his statement on social media, saying he was reiterating what Hulk Hogan’s family already knew. However, Hogan’s widow, Sky Hogan, refuted his claims.
