An All Elite Wrestling star is calling out comments recently made by WWE’s Nick Khan.
In a recent episode of My World with Jeff Jarrett (via Wrestling Inc.), Jarrett responded to comments made by Khan regarding wrestling legend Rey Mysterio. While on an episode of Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, Khan referred to Mysterio as “a nothing” in WCW prior to his time in WWE. The comments upset fans and professionals alike, with Jarrett calling it nothing but “bullsh-t.”
“Bullsh-t!” Jarrett said in response to the comments. “Buddy…Folks, go out of your way and watch little Rey-Rey. He freaking tore – yeah. He just has no peers. And when you look as a – call it – a kid from Mexico City? Generational talent? How ever you kind of stack the accolades, when you stand next to Rey – s**t – I feel big.
“It’s hard for people to fathom, like: okay, this guy has wrestled Kevin Nash? … That’s how good Rey is. You cannot put enough praise on the performer that Rey is. 30 years! A long time!”
