Bayley and Lyra Valkyria trolled an old rumor with their latest backstage photo.
Bayley and Lyra Valkyria had a heated conversation with Adam Pearce on this week’s episode of WWE RAW over getting a Women’s Tag Team Championship opportunity. While Bayley lost her cool at the General Manager, Valkyria tried to reason with Pearce and asked him to keep them in consideration for a future title shot.
Following the event, Bayley took to X/Twitter to post a picture of herself and Lyra Valkyria pouting on the locker room floor. This is likely a reference to an old rumor that Bayley and Mercedes Moné lay down on the locker room floor, upset over having to lose the Women’s Tag Team Championship to The IIconics at WrestleMania 35.
Bayley and Lyra Valkyria last competed for the title on the October 27 episode of WWE RAW. Current champions The Kabuki Warriors will defend the championship against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY on January 5, and it will be interesting to see if Bayley and Valkyria will be the next in line.
Bayley Reflected on Her Future and the Next Step in WWE
Speaking to The Undertaker and Michelle McCool on the Six Feet Under podcast, Bayley opened up about possibly becoming a WWE producer and coach in the future.
“I don’t know creative wise if I would be in the writer’s room or anything good like that, but maybe producing, I would enjoy that. I’ve done it a few times. I’ve produced stuff in ‘NXT.’ It’s very hard and I don’t know if I’d be a good producer right now.
“I see myself more as a coach or if I were to open a school and coaching and stuff, it’s very different than producing.
“But then when I think, okay, however much longer I’m gonna be wrestling, there’s still all the girls that I wanna see them see them grow in their career … So I have thought okay, maybe I should try to learn how to do that better so I could be around and be a part of it and just wear another hat,” Bayley said.
