WWE RAW Viewership Falls To Lowest Number Since July On 9/12

WWE RAW viewership notably dropped on September 12.

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, an average of 1.709 million viewers tuned in Monday, which is down from last week, when 2.054 million viewers watched the show.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, RAW scored a 0.44 rating, which also marks a decrease from last week (0.58).

Thurston noted that both Monday Night Football and The Emmys drew high viewership numbers on Monday night. RAW ranked seventh in the demographic among cable originals on Monday night, with hour two taking the top spot of the three hours this week.

The hourly breakdown, via Showbuzz Daily, is as follows:

  • Hour one 1.783, 0.45 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic
  • Hour two 1.821 million viewers, 0.48 rating
  • Hour three 1.525 million viewers, 0.39 rating

This week’s episode opened with a promo from Seth “Freakin” Rollins that was interrupted by Matt Riddle. The confrontation led to a singles match between Riddle and Finn Balor of The Judgment Day. The main event of the show featured the grudge match between Edge and Dominik Mysterio which ended in a no contest as The Judgment Day seemingly broke Edge’s leg, writing him off television for the time being.
