Kofi Kingston Has A Hilarious Response To Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania 42 Loss

Kofi Kingston had a fitting response to Brock Lesnar’s shocking loss at WWE WrestleMania 42.

Lesnar opened WrestleMania 42 Sunday against Oba Femi in a hard-hitting clash. “The Beast” looked to have the match won after delivering an F5 in the closing moments, but Femi powered through and responded with a devastating chokeslam-powerbomb combination to score the upset victory.

The aftermath added even more weight to the moment. A visibly emotional Lesnar removed his gloves and boots in the ring, a long-standing signal often associated with retirement in wrestling. He then shared an embrace with Paul Heyman before heading backstage.

The result sparked a wave of reactions across social media, but Kingston’s stood out. Referencing his own infamous quick loss to Lesnar years ago, the former WWE Champion posted:

“Avenged…at long last…”

The moment also revived a long-running fan discussion about Lesnar’s dominance over top stars, particularly Black champions. Femi himself previously joked about it during an appearance on No-Contest Wrestling, noting that almost no one had escaped Lesnar’s path.

In a humorous twist, Femi pointed out that Cody Rhodes — jokingly referred to as “Raheem” — was one of the rare exceptions, quipping that he seemed “immune” to Lesnar’s dominance.

“We have to remember, there’s one Black person that Brock was not able to stop his momentum… RAHEEM! Raheem was immune to Brock’s stuff. One win for us,” Oba said.
