The Undertaker Uses Chris Benoit Catchphrase To Put Over WWE NXT Star

The Undertaker highlighted the end of John Cena’s career on Tuesday night. He also promoted the debut of a new WWE prospect, Shiloh Hill, by using a catchphrase linked to Chris Benoit.

After several weeks of cryptic vignettes, Shiloh Hill, the winner of WWE LFG Season 2, was set to debut on the latest edition of WWE NXT. Hill originally applied for Season 1, got selected and trained directly under The Undertaker.

With fans already buzzing about Hill’s character, The Undertaker posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, ahead of Hill’s big night. He shared two photos of himself working with Hill during WWE LFG, along with two photos: one shaking his hand after Cena’s 2002 match with Kurt Angle and another taken backstage after their WrestleMania 34 match.

“As one incredible career draws to an end, another takes off. The @shiloh_wwe journey begins tonight on @WWENXT …8e/7c on @TheCW . Get ya some, young man!”

The Undertaker says the ‘Toothless Aggression’ era is underway in WWE

Shiloh Hill made a strong first impression on NXT, defeating Lexis King in his debut. In a wild moment during the match, Hill even pulled out his own mouth guard and handed it to the referee before firing up and securing the win.

After the match, The Undertaker also made an unfortunate connection between Hill, who is missing a front tooth, and Chris Benoit. The latter used the catchphrase “Toothless Aggression” while he was an active competitor in WWE.

“The Toothless Agression Era is officially underway! Many more victories for @shiloh_wwe to come,” The Undertaker wrote on Twitter/X.

It’s possible that The Undertaker simply forgot about the connection to Benoit, who has largely been blackballed from pro wrestling after he murdered his wife and youngest son before committing suicide in 2007. He also might have just been thinking about putting Hill over. Either way, it doesn’t seem likely that WWE will allow the nickname to stick, due to the link to Benoit.

Regardless, Shiloh Hill is off to a huge start in WWE, especially with The Undertaker openly backing him and fans already paying attention.
